I’m Jade, a death doula and funeral celebrant based in Timaru.
My role is to walk beside you and your whānau with compassion, calm, and care. I offer a steady presence, a listening ear, and gentle guidance that is kind, practical and supportive. You can lean on me. Sometimes that means quietly sitting at the bedside or supporting those who are there for their loved one’s last breath. At other times, it’s about helping you plan ahead, navigate difficult decisions, or create a meaningful way to honour a life well lived with a funeral, memorial ceremony or ritual. I can guide you through important conversations and advocate for your wishes, offering comfort before, during, and after death. |
“At the heart of my work is respect and empowerment. I don’t take over; I support and guide, creating safe spaces where families feel heard, informed, and supported.
Together, we bring clarity, connection, and even moments of peace to life’s final chapter, treating it as the sacred transition it truly is"

Support before, during or after
As a death doula, I provide holistic, non-medical end-of-life care for individuals and families navigating the final chapter of life in Timaru, South Canterbury, and the Mackenzie District. My aim is to bring comfort, clarity, and calm during one of life’s most challenging seasons, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way. |
I offer respectful, inclusive care to everyone. People of all cultures, religions, backgrounds, and identities, regardless of their life stories and experiences.
I'm proud to support the LGBTTQIAP+ (rainbow) community and anyone who needs kind, non-judgmental support in their life.
