Weddings can be so expensive and it is the little things that we want can add up the dollars. You can save some precious $$$ and make your own petal confetti. Not only will it save you money it will be fun to do and you can do it ahead of time.
Check out how to make your own dried petals.
Dried petals can be used for confetti, table decorations or as a walkway/aisle. Fresh petals feel like rubber and get stuck to clothing and shoes.
Not only does the petals look stunning when thrown as the couple take their first steps as a married couple, it is good for the environment too!
Petals are biodegradable to so you won't need to be concerned if a petal enters a pond or stream or small animal or bird takes one away for their nest. You can have natural confetti with rose petals on farm weddings, outdoor, garden weddings or even indoors as it is easy to pick up.
You can make your petals when the gardens are in full bloom or when flowers are cheap ( after Valentines day they often have cheap roses that haven't sold.)
In peak flower season you can raid your friends, your neighbours, your parents or your Nana's garden and get drying.
Important Note: Warn your photographer if you are having petals so they can be in the right position to get the perfect photo.
