​It's no surprise that so many couples choose marry here. Every season brings a new breathtaking backdrop. The turquoise waters of Lake Tekapo have a picture-perfect backdrop with the majestic Southern Alps. 

What you need to do:

• decide on your wedding date (Mon - Thur excl public holiday)
• book in your elopement package
• order your marriage licence
• organise two witnesses and invite up to 8 ( I may be able to organise witnesses if needed)
• relax and enjoy your wedding day

Lake Tekapo 

Lake Tekapo is located Mackenzie Basin (aka "Mackenzie Country"). Nestled in the heart of the South Island, this region boasts some of the most breathtaking views on earth.

On the edge of the lake sits the Church of the Good Shepherd, a stunner of a church first built in the Mackenzie Basin in 1935. This church is one of the most photographed in the country.

And remember about the stargazing - it's some of the best in the world!

​​I can organise and bring your wedding bouquets or buttonholes, wedding cupcakes and grazing platter at extra cost. I can recommend accommodation in the area.

It is also a nature lover's paradise, with many entertaining activities. Soak in the hotpools, hike, bike, fish, swim, ski, or take a scenic flight.

Aoraki Mount Cook, New Zealand's tallest peak, is just an hour's drive away and only a 3-hour from Queenstown or Christchurch.

• celebrant* ~ with aroha elope ceremony 
• photography* ~ one hour  (with the option for longer- price may change depending on available photographer)
• outdoor ceremony ~ a one-hour booking  lakeside in public place for your elopement ceremony and onsite photos.
• package co-ordinator

I feel incredibly blessed to have found Jade. We were about to give up on a New Zealand wedding when I found Jade.

With less than a one-month notice and knowing we only had about a four-hour window at Lake Tekapo to perform the ceremony, Jade made it work for us! She brought a gorgeous bouquet and co-ordinated an amazing photographer, Kate Baron Photography.

Important Details

The Important  Details ~ 'Lakeside Love Tekapo Elopement Packages'
​

• This exclusive celebrant + photography package is available  Monday to Thursday (excl public holidays)
• Ceremony time between 9:00am to 4:00pm - Jade as celebrant only is available some weekends)
• All prices are in NZ Dollars and include GST.
• Depending on the available photographer, the price may change.
• A $500.00 non-refundable payment and a signed contract are required to secure your date. (If overseas payment will be through WISE  you will pay all associated fees) 
• Balance is due in full one calendar month before the wedding day. 
• There is no rehearsal or microphone with Elopement Packages*
• You may have up to 8 guests at the ceremony*(babies not included in numbers) * 
• You will arrive 15 minutes before your ceremony​

• If you require an extra 30 minutes of photography, you will pre-arrange additional payment for the photographer.
• Receive a sneak peek of photos within two days.
• All photos available within 45 business*** days (will be confirmed in the contract)
• These packages do not include your marriage licence fee of $150 , which you apply for online and pay directly to the Department of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
• Travel is included only to Tekapo Township, Lupin Field Lookout. Travel charges may apply depending on the ceremony location.
