Get ready to say "I do" at the beautiful 'Morelea Lakeside.' It is on the edge of stunning Lake Tekapo in the Mackenzie district.

Morelea Lakeside is perfect for couples to marry or renew their vows and soak in the natural beauty of the lake and mountains at any time of the year.

Morelea Lakeside has been the beautiful backdrop for many elopements and weddings. You have access to the bridal suite to get ready, and have use of their grounds and home for the ceremony and photos. **Please note it does NOT include overnight accommodation. 

​What you need know:

• available Monday to Thursday (excluding public holidays)
• includes use of the, grounds, bridal suite, and lounge area inside. (perfect wet weather option.) Outdoor chairs if needed.
• marriage celebrant and one hour professional photographer included
• bouquet, buttonhole, weddding cupcakes available as optional extras
• invite up to eight guests 
• can recommend accommodation, make-up, hairdresser and restaurants

Morelea Lakeside 

Angie and Stan have opened their beautiful home and grounds to couples from all over the world to marry or renew their wedding vows. 

They have created a lovely space with magnificent gardens and a welcoming home. Any time of year is beautiful at Morelea Lakeside, Lake Tekapo.

If the weather isn't ideal, you can be inside in the warm, with the stunning backdrop behind you.  

​​I can organise and bring your wedding bouquets, buttonholes and wedding cupcakes at extra cost. I can recommend, beauty, hair or accommodation in the area.

Angie may be able to provide a meal or nibbles for an extra cost. Angie is renowned for her pavlova and meals, which locals, cruise ship passengers and tour buses enjoy.

• celebrant* ~ with 'aroha' elopement ceremony 
• photography* ~ one hour includes ceremony  (with the option for longer). I will arrange

Price includes venue site, photographer and celebrant. Does not include arch, accomodation or optional extras.

Ceremony + Venue 

• This exclusive venue, celebrant + photography package is available  Monday to Thursday (except on public holidays)
• Ceremony time between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm 
• You may have up to EIGHT guests at the ceremony*(babies not included in numbers) * ​​
• Morelea Lakeside  ~ use of bridal suite, lounge and outdoor spaces Address: 80 Lakeside Drive,  Lake Tekapo
• Aroha"  elopement ceremony. I can help you with your vows and add other simple personalisations to your ceremony. 

Costings + Contracts

• You will be sent a questionnaire and contract to confirm what you want
• Your $950.00 non-refundable payment will be required for the venue payment, and a deposit will be placed for the celebrant and photographer to confirm your date and ceremony time 
• If you live overseas, payment will be through WISE, and you will pay all associated fees.
• If you live in NZ, payment into my NZ bank account
• All remaining balance is due  one calendar month  before your wedding day
• Travel is included  for the celebrant and photographer to Morelea Lakeside

Marriage Licence

• These packages do not include your marriage licence fee of $150 + certificate of $33 = $183 NZD, which you apply for online and pay directly to the Department of Births, Deaths and Marriages 

Photographers
I have teamed up with three fabulous and experienced photographers;

• Beth Lambourne ~ $2449 NZD 
• Kate Baron Photography ~ $2449 NZD 
• Agnes Grace Photography ~ $2449 NZD 

 
They have offered an exclusive price designed for this package.  I will arrange the photographer for you.

• One-hour photographer ( time  begins at the start of the ceremony). 
• Additional photography and videography can be arranged
• Receive a sneak peek of photos within two days.
• All photos available within 45 business*** days (will be confirmed in the contract)​
