Simple and Beautiful Beach Wedding at the Penguin Colony, Caroline Bay, Timaru

​Let me tell you about the beautiful story of Kyle and Tiffanie's beach wedding at the Penguin Colony, Caroline Bay, Timaru. Despite the harsh weather, with gale-force winds and the threat of rain looming, the sun gods shone brightly for their 6:00 pm wedding. It was a moment of pure magic as the couple exchanged their vows on the picturesque beach, surrounded by their loved ones.

The couple had opted for a simple yet stunning set-up, with black, white, red, and blue colours adorning their beach wedding. They carved a love heart on the sand for their ceremonial space, with a signing table off to the side.

​As the bride made her way down the aisle, she looked nothing short of stunning in her locally brought wedding gown, which she had personalised with her own jewels . Her bridal nails and veil tied the look together, complemented by fabulous pops of red in her bouquet.

Pops of red were the theme. Tiffanie sewed the jewels herself on her wedding dress.

​As the groom Kyle and groomsmen waited on the beachfront, their family and friends from around New Zealand took in the stunning views, complete with the penguin colony nearby. The ceremony was intimate and personal, with the sun shining down and creating a warm glow around the couple.

A few beachgoers stood and watched from afar, smiling, but Kyle and Tiffanie were oblivious to their presence. Their heartfelt, handwritten wedding vows brought tears to the eyes of many of the guests as they exchanged their vows and made a commitment of love in front of everyone they hold dear.

After the ceremony, the couple celebrated with their friends and family at the yacht club, which overlooks Caroline Bay. It was a short walk from where they had just gotten married, making it easy for the guests to move from one place to another. The evening was filled with joy and laughter as the couple celebrated into the night.
