Kelly and Glenn's Vow Renewal Ceremony: A Heartwarming Love Story

​Glenn first approached me as he wanted to do something special for Kelly. Life had been busy for them both; he wanted to ensure Kelly knew what she meant to him. After 15 years of marriage, it was time to renew this lovely couple's wedding vows.

We had a great meeting where he shared their love story and journey. Glenn set about making arrangements for possible ideas for their Vow Renewal Day. He would present the concept to Kelly for a surprise and show his ideas and details of the day. This way, she would feel there were only a few things to organise for their special day.

The little details created a beautiful ceremonial space to recommit to each other

On Christmas Day, he presented her with his "gift" She was thrilled. What a fabulous present. It gave her enough time to buy and organise everything she wanted for herself for her "Vow Renewal Day" in the middle of January.

We meet up and confirm the ceremony details. I asked about their love story, achievements and important milestones of their married life together. We included the symbolic enactments they wanted to use. I spent a few days crafting the perfect ceremony and sent through the bespoke ceremony for them to edit. They were thrilled, and we were all set to go.

The day arrived, and Glenn and Kelly transformed their backyard into a beautiful boho sanctuary. It was a perfect summer's day and evening weather for celebrating into the wee hours.

It was a pleasure to be part of their big day and to be able to create a ceremony that reflected their journey.​ Having their children and dog a part of it too meant it was real family affair.
